A reputable company is looking for a responsible and safety-focused Safety Officer to monitor workplace conditions, implement health and safety procedures, and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards. Candidates with strong observation skills, technical safety knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular workplace inspections and identify potential hazards.

Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measures.

Ensure employees follow safety guidelines and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions.

Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses.

Requirements

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.

NEBOSH IGC or an equivalent recognized safety qualification is an advantage.

Previous experience in a safety-related role is preferred.

Knowledge of workplace risk assessments, hazard identification, and accident prevention.

Understanding of PPE requirements and workplace safety procedures.
