Description


A technical services environment in Dubai is offering an opportunity for an HVAC Technician to support the operation and upkeep of air-conditioning, cooling, and ventilation equipment. The position involves carrying out routine servicing, identifying system faults, assisting with installations, and helping maintain comfortable and reliable indoor environments.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out scheduled servicing of split AC, package units, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems.
Inspect HVAC equipment to identify unusual noise, leakage, poor cooling, and performance issues.
Perform basic fault finding on electrical and mechanical HVAC components.
Assist with installation, replacement, and commissioning of air-conditioning equipment.
Check thermostats, motors, fans, compressors, belts, filters, and other system components.
Clean and maintain coils, filters, drain trays, and condensate drainage systems.
Check refrigerant pressure and assist with charging or recovery procedures as authorized.
Replace worn or defective components following technical instructions.
Respond to maintenance requests and complete assigned service calls within required timeframes.
Maintain tools, testing instruments, spare parts, and work equipment in good condition.
Record completed maintenance work and report recurring faults to the supervisor.
Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, MEP technicians, and other site personnel when required.
Follow equipment manuals, maintenance schedules, and workplace safety procedures.
Keep maintenance areas clean and ensure tools and materials are stored properly.
Requirements
ITI, Diploma, or technical qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
Previous HVAC, AC, refrigeration, or building-maintenance experience is an advantage.
Freshers with relevant technical training or certification are welcome to apply.
Basic knowledge of air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
Ability to use common HVAC hand tools and basic testing equipment.
Understanding of preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Awareness of electrical and workplace safety procedures.
Physically fit and comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments.
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work shifts, weekends, or emergency maintenance schedules when required.
UAE/GCC technical services experience is an advantage.
