Description

We need counter sales staff, and the applicant should have a pleasing personality and be able to deal with the client.
Assists customers with purchase decisions. Retrieves merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations; places special orders.
Collects payment using the store point of sale system.

Cashier Skills and Responsibilities:

* Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and service.
* Registers sales on a cash register by scanning items and itemizing.
* Resolves customer issues and answers questions.
* Itemizes and totals purchases by recording prices and departments.
* Discounts purchases by redeeming coupons.
* Collects payments by accepting cash, checks, or charge payments from customers and makes changes for cash customers.
* Balances cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of work shift.

Cashier Qualifications/ Attributes:

* Friendly and positive attitude
* Excellent customer service
* Excellent communication skills
