We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Control Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with inventory-related tasks. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and has a strong understanding of inventory management principles.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory items.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of inventory items.
Update inventory records and databases accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist in implementing inventory control procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.
Identify and report inventory-related issues or concerns to management.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate forecasting and planning of inventory needs.
Requirements:

Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software/systems.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to lift and move inventory items as needed.
