## CASHIER – JOB DESCRIPTION A Cashier is responsible for handling customer payments and providing friendly, efficient service at the checkout counter. **Key Responsibilities:** * Greet customers and provide professional customer service. * Process cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately. * Operate the cash register/POS system efficiently. * Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records. * Handle cash safely and maintain the correct cash balance. * Check prices, discounts, and promotions when processing purchases. * Assist customers with basic product and payment- related queries. * Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and presentable. * Prepare daily cash reports and support end- of- shift cash reconciliation. * Follow company policies and maintain a high standard of accuracy and honesty. **Skills & Requirements:** * Good communication and customer- service skills. * Basic mathematics and cash- handling ability. * Attention to detail and accuracy. * Basic computer/POS knowledge. * Friendly, responsible, and trustworthy attitude. * Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment. salary : 3,000 - 3,500 company provided free food + free accommodstion
