Description


We are looking for a skilled, hardworking, and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, and hygiene requirements while ensuring timely service during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food according to approved recipes and restaurant standards.
Set up and organize the assigned kitchen station before service.
Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, chopping, seasoning, and portioning.
Cook food according to required quality, taste, presentation, and portion standards.
Maintain consistent food quality during busy service periods.
Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely order completion.
Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
Store food items properly and follow FIFO procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the assigned workstation.
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
Monitor stock levels and inform the kitchen supervisor of shortages.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils after use.
Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.
Follow all company and kitchen safety procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Line Cook / Cook / Commis Chef is preferred.
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.
Professional, punctual, hardworking, and reliable attitude.
UAE hospitality experience is an advantage.
