Description


We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and qualified Lead Teacher to provide high-quality teaching and learning while supporting the development and performance of teaching staff. The Lead Teacher will take responsibility for planning and delivering effective lessons, monitoring student progress, maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting the implementation of the school’s academic programs.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate and differentiated lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum.
Lead classroom teaching and ensure effective learning outcomes for all students.
Monitor and assess student progress through regular assessments, observations and evaluations.
Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate academic support.
Develop and maintain lesson plans, teaching resources, student records and assessment documentation.
Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
Support and mentor teachers, teaching assistants and other classroom staff.
Coordinate with the Academic Coordinator, Head of Department and school management regarding academic matters.
Guide teachers in lesson planning, classroom management and effective teaching strategies.
Monitor curriculum implementation and ensure teaching standards are maintained.
Review student work and provide constructive feedback to students and teaching staff.
Organize and participate in parent meetings and communicate student progress professionally.
Support the planning and implementation of academic events, activities, projects and school programs.
