Description

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Restaurant Cashier to handle customer transactions efficiently while providing excellent service. The ideal candidate should be polite, accurate with payments, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and take food orders
Process payments (cash, card, digital) accurately
Issue receipts and return correct change
Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter
Answer customer questions about menu items
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy
Handle customer complaints politely and professionally
Balance cash register at the beginning and end of shifts

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous cashier or customer service experience (preferred)
Basic math and money-handling skills
Familiarity with POS systems like Square POS or Toast POS
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure

Work Environment

Fast-paced restaurant setting
Requires standing for long hours
