The cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service by efficiently processing sales transactions at the point of sale. This role includes handling cash, credit, and other forms of payment, as well as assisting customers with inquiries, returns, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner

Scan items and process payments accurately using POS systems

Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions; issue receipts and change

Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure amounts are correct

Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
