Their duties include ensuring the vehicle is maintained, performing routine checks (like oil, tire pressure, and fuel levels), and adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Light Drivers may also be required to load and unload items, manage delivery schedules, and assist with basic administrative tasks like paperwork or delivery logs. Strong driving skills, a valid driver’s license, a good knowledge of local routes, and reliability are essential for success in this role.
