A Cashier is responsible for handling transactions, managing cash flow, and providing customer service in retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing environments. Key duties include:

Processing Transactions: Scanning items, calculating totals, and handling cash, credit, or debit payments.
Issuing Receipts: Providing customers with receipts for their purchases and ensuring the correct amount of change is given.
Customer Service: Assisting customers with inquiries, answering questions about products or services, and resolving any issues with transactions.
Maintaining a Clean Workspace: Keeping the cashier area organized, stocked with supplies, and clean.
Managing Returns and Exchanges: Handling returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
