Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Warehouse Assistant. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse by assisting with receiving, storing, and distributing goods, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders or invoices.
Unload, unpack, and inspect goods for damage or defects.
Record and label received inventory items and update inventory records accordingly.
Store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
Assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Flexibility to work evening, weekend, and overtime hours as needed.
