Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage with children in a caring and nurturing manner.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Maintain a safe and clean environment, including regular sanitization of toys and equipment.
Follow daily schedules and routines to ensure consistency and stability for children.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children’s progress, behavior, and needs.
Monitor children’s health and well-being, including administering medication and attending to basic first aid needs when necessary.
Foster positive relationships and encourage teamwork and cooperation among children.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in early childhood education is preferred.
Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting.
Genuine love for children and a patient, nurturing demeanor.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage children in educational and recreational activities.
Understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Clear background check and health screening.
