Description


You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of carpets and flooring materials to our customers. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that our products reach our clients in excellent condition, maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently drive company vehicles to deliver carpets and flooring materials to designated locations.
Load and unload carpets and flooring products from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery while considering traffic conditions and customer schedules.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safe operation of the delivery vehicle and report any maintenance issues.
Provide exceptional customer service by delivering products courteously and assisting with basic installation or setup, if required.
Maintain delivery records, obtain customer signatures for receipt of goods, and accurately report any delivery discrepancies or damages.
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the delivery vehicle.

Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Previous experience in delivery driving, preferably in the transportation of large items or materials.
Ability to lift heavy objects and safely maneuver carpets and flooring materials.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Reliable and punctual with strong time management skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to ensure accurate delivery of products.
