Job Title: Cargo Driver

Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate cargo vehicles such as trucks, vans, or delivery vehicles.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling, secure packaging, and weight distribution.
Plan delivery routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
Ensure the secure fastening and protection of cargo during transportation.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
Adhere to all traffic rules, regulations, and transportation laws.
Monitor and report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs.
Handle and maintain delivery records, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams for efficient cargo delivery.
Assist with customer inquiries and resolve cargo-related issues professionally.

Qualifications:
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Previous experience as a Cargo Driver or in a related role is advantageous.
Strong attention to safety and excellent driving skills.
Knowledge of cargo loading and securing procedures.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic transportation environment.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy cargo.
Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
Commitment to the secure and timely delivery of cargo.
