Assist the senior sommeliers in managing and organizing the wine cellar, ensuring proper storage conditions and inventory control.
Help curate and update the wine list, taking into consideration customer preferences and industry trends.
Greet customers, guide them through the wine menu, and make recommendations based on their preferences and the dishes they order.
Provide detailed information about wine regions, varietals, vintages, and production methods to educate and engage customers.
Assist in wine tastings and events, showcasing your knowledge and passion for wines to create memorable experiences.
Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure wine and food pairings complement each other, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Upsell and promote featured wines, special offers, and wine-related products to increase sales and revenue.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including polishing glassware, arranging wine displays, and ensuring wine service equipment is in excellent condition.
Stay updated with industry trends, new releases, and emerging wine regions to provide up-to-date recommendations to customers.
