Job Description

1. Prepares Financial Statements and related lead schedules for Internal reports & External Audits
2. Liaise with Auditors during yearly External Audits
3. Responsible for the preparation, filing, payment & review of VAT-related returns
4. To monitor compliance with FTA & Banks
5. Manage FTA portal of the Group
6. Handles Accounts Receivables and collection from Customers
7. Prepares Monthly Bank Reconciliation
8. Handles Guarantee applications and renewals
9. Prepares Customer invoicing for Abu Dhabi.
10. Prepares Petty Cash vouchers
11. Duplicate functions of a colleague on annual leave
12. Other functions that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in finance and accounting (Mandatory)
2. Qualified Accountant - CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, preferred
3. Minimum of 3 years experience working in UAE under a Logistics Company
4. Working knowledge of UAE VAT requirements
5. Has background or basic knowledge of Bank Guarantees / Letters of Credit
6. Experienced in general bookkeeping
7. With a background in Corporate Tax
8. Experienced in MS Office esp. Excel
