Ensuring that safety procedures are followed, such as wearing safety equipment while working with chemicals or machinery
Making sure that proper materials are used to complete the job, such as brushes, rollers, or drop cloths
Maintaining a schedule for production, recording progress, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
Communicating with the crew to ensure that all tasks are completed satisfactorily
Preparing work sites for painting projects, including removing old paint, repairing surfaces, and patching holes
Inspecting finished work to ensure that it meets standards, such as quality and adherence to color specifications
Coordinating with the client, architect, designer, or engineer regarding design details and specifications.
Monitoring the performance of workers to ensure that job requirements are being met.
Organizing and managing workers on large projects, including hiring, scheduling, and training workers.
