Description


Primarily responsible for assisting the AC technician during repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment including: refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, intake and exhaust fans, economizers and humidifiers.

Main Responsibilities:
• Perform the work as requested by the AC Technician and/or Supervisor

• Assist on job sites with technicians as needed.

• Perform all tasks in a timely manner.

• Secure parts and tools needed throughout the day for various jobs as required.

• Consult AC Technician or Supervisor if there is any uncertainty in performing the tasks.

• Complete work in a timely and workmanlike manner.

• Coordinate with AC Technician and Supervisor for the use of company tools and ensure they are returned to the office in a timely manner.

• Maintain company tools in a professional manner.

• Maintain the area of work in neat condition and leave it clean once the task is completed

Knowledge, skills and experience required:
• No specific technical skills are pre- condition for the role

• Knowledge of basic HVAC requirements and skills, maintenance scope and similar are considered as advantage for performing the role

• Must possess good time management skills

• Must have the ability to be flexible to juggle multiple tasks

• Must be able to work well with other technicians and tradesman

• Must understand the use of basic tools

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Can read and write and communicate in English

• Diploma in refrigeration and or equivalent certification would be beneficial, but it is not a condition

• Experience gained in the GCC would be beneficial, but it is not a condition.
