KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: STORE HELPER

The primary responsibility of the Store Helper is to assist Store Keeper by performing a variety of stock keeping and filing the store related documents, customer / supplier care and housekeeping duties.

Receive the materials from suppliers and double check with approved sample.
Physically count the received materials and ensure the packing list quantity is matching with received quantity.
Check all products to see if there are no damages.
If there any quality or quantity discrepancy, document the same in the Log-book and inform Store Keeper.
Stack the received materials in shelves in clean & proper manner.
Pick & arrange the materials as per pick slips provided by Store keeper.
Make sure that there is no excess or short during material delivery.
Loading the materials to delivery pick up.
Filing all pick slips in date wise after getting the material acknowledged pick slip from various sites.
Perform general housekeeping duties including keeping the Store office, loading area, Pantry etc. Clean the stores area, the materials on shelves, floor areas, removing and disposing all unwanted materials like, empty boxes, plastic bags and other packing materials from all the areas.
Keep store entrance clean always.
Ensure all stores doors including emergency exits are always closed.
